Our approach
We make role models.
We do it at our academies. The first one is based in Arusha, Tanzania.
We do it through a holistic view where all our boys gets at least 'two chances'. If they dont make it as pro-footballers in Europe, they will play in our pro-team in Tanzania meanwhile they will be given a career in our TZ-companies.
We believe that we will make Taifa Stars, and players who can compete in Europe.
But we also want to create a sustainable footprint in Tanzania. Through our academy, our pro-club and our local businesses.
Football & Business
Football Academy
We take the long road. 10,000 hours of prime football training from 10 years and forward.
Our football academy in Tanzania which is already the best and most ambitious in a fast growing country. 30 boys between 10 and 16 lives at the academy. All with an aim to become a pro-footballer. In Europe - or in Tanzania.
Football Club
In 2028-29 we will acquire a Tanzanian football club in one of the two best leagues (Premier League or Championship). Previously we have owned pro club in Denmark as well (Young Boys FD, 2021-2025). Our future clubs (in TZ and EU) will only be run in order to help our boys/players to take the next steps.
Business
All our boys gets prime education in English speaking private schools. From standard 5 in Primary to Form 4 in Secondary.
Besides school our boys will learn IT, sales, business, start-up and marketing. And the boys who doesnt go to Europe will be offered job in our own businesses while the play at YBFD, TZ.
Young Boys Academy
At the feet of Mount Meru lies Young Boys Academy - the most ambitious football Academy in Tanzania.
When full; 45 boys between 10 and 18 years live at the Academy. At the moment (October 2026) we are 27 boys between 10 and 16 years. Every year, 5-6 boys at 10-11 years of age are being recruited. From all over Tanzania.
All boys at the Academy are guaranteed 10,000 hours of prime football training by licensed FIFA coaches. At YBA we also have our own Style of Play, and we also have organized 'our own' youth tournament around Arusha: Arumeru Youth League ... for our boys to get as qualified match training as possible.
The mantra of the Academy is: "2 chanches of becoming a Tanzanian role model". Because if our boys dont make it to European football they will be offered a trainee position/job in our Tanzanian business start-ups. And they will then start a local business career - at the same time that they play their football at Young Boys FD - our local Tanzanian football club (at that time).

Our businesses
From the slopes of Kilimanjaro we export the green beens from Kilimanjaro Plantation to be roasted and sold in Denmark. Step one is to sell to the Nordic market through the webshop. In step two (2028-29) we will also roast and sell local - in Tanzania. All profit goes to the Academy.

On feet of Mount Meru we do not only have our Football Academy - we also have our small Sports Lodge.
We arrange groups travel to Tanzania. To visit our academy, to visit the National parks etc. For Danish schools and clubs. All profit to Academy.
